What you'll do:

  • Oversee all aspects of claim file management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Implement and drive organizational change initiatives within the claims department.
  • Analyze claim trends and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Hire and onboard new team members, providing them with the necessary training and support to succeed.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including underwriting, legal, and marketing, to ensure seamless claim resolution.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that values teamwork, accountability, and open communication.


What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in personal lines claims, with a strong track record of success.
  • Proven leadership experience, including the ability to mentor, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with data management and analytics tools.
  • A strong understanding of insurance coverage and industry regulations.
