*Job Description:*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate *Registered Nurse (RN)* to provide high-quality nursing care in our Medical Unit. The RN will be responsible for assessing patients, planning and implementing care, monitoring progress, and recording essential observations. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team and delegation of appropriate tasks to other staff. The RN will also ensure compliance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Deliver professional nursing care, employing critical thinking skills
* Assess and monitor patient conditions, recognizing changes and taking necessary actions
* Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
* Maintain accurate documentation and records of patient care
* Delegate appropriate tasks to other healthcare team members
* Collaborate with physicians and other team members to achieve unit goals

*Required Qualifications:*
* *Experience:* Minimum 1 year of acute care (hospital) nursing experience; med-Surg experience preferred
* *Education:* Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (must complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within 5 years of starting the position)
* *License:* Current Illinois RN license
* *Certifications:* Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
