SALARY RANGE:

$60,000 - $78,000

DESCRIPTION:

ACCESS Family Care is hiring a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to provide office-based therapy primarily for children and adolescents in Joplin, Missouri. This full-time salaried position offers competitive pay and an excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of providers to support each child's journey toward improved health and wellness.
Meet with children and their parents/guardians to assess emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and psychological needs.
Conduct diagnostic intake assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Provide therapy and behavioral health interventions to promote personal growth and address treatment goals.
Educate children and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and the therapeutic process.

Qualifications and Skills:

Passion for working with children and adolescents
Relevant experience in play therapy and evidence-based treatment modalities.
Compassionate, team-oriented, independent, optimistic, hardworking, and adaptable.
Candidates who are bilingual in English/Spanish and/or hold Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credentials are highly encouraged to apply.
