Job Summary:
We are looking for an OMP Supply Chain Planning Consultant with expertise in implementing and supporting OMP solutions. The consultant will manage the configuration, customization, and optimization of OMP modules, including Demand and Supply Planning, ensuring smooth integration with other systems. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality supply chain solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
•Configure and customize OMP planning applications, focusing on Demand and Supply Planning.
•Implement and support OMP modules: OPR (Supply Planning), DRP (Distribution Requirements Planning), MPS (Manufacturing Production Scheduling), MRP (Material Requirements Planning).
•Conduct business process analysis, functional design, and solution development.
•Lead and participate in system development phases including construction, validation, and deployment.
•Develop and test functional specifications for modifications, reports, and interfaces to ensure integration.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful data and process flows throughout project life cycles.
•Provide technical and functional knowledge transfer to stakeholders during pre-implementation, GO-LIVE, and post-GO-LIVE phases.
•Maintain data integrity across systems and ensure adherence to business processes.
•Prepare and deliver presentations for senior leadership and client executives.
•Manage stakeholder engagement and expectations, working closely with project managers and solution architects.
Required Qualifications:
•3-5 years of experience in OMP implementation and support with strong knowledge in Demand and Supply Planning.
•Expertise in OPR, DRP, MPS, MRP modules and hands-on experience with OMP solvers and dispatchers.
•Knowledge of data modeling, design, and coding within OMP systems.
•Experience integrating OMP with SAP ERP/APO or other supply chain platforms (Blue Yonder, Kinaxis).
•Familiarity with master and transactional data management for planning.
•Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
•Ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal supervision.
•Experience working across time zones, with exposure to European time zone preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Knowledge of Solvers, OPAL, configuration within OMP is a plus.
•Experience with integration platforms like Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or iPaaS solutions.
•Familiarity with SAP APO, Blue Yonder, and Kinaxis.
•Experience working in Agile environments and using collaborative tools such as Jira and Confluence.
