Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Join our dedicated team in Spokane Valley, WA, where you can make a meaningful impact in home health care. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional to provide exceptional nursing services and support to our patients.
* Provide services in accordance with the plan of care.
* Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
* Deliver nursing services, treatments, and diagnostic and preventive procedures as assigned.
* Initiate the plan of care and necessary revisions.
* Start appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
* Prepare clinical and progress notes for each patient visit and care conference summaries. Submit paperwork within 48 hours to the office.
* Observe signs and symptoms and report reactions to treatments, including drugs and changes in the patient's condition, to the physician and Clinical Director or RN Case Manager.
* Perform clinical and progress notes or visit notes as required by assignment.
* Inform Clinical Director or designee of changes in the patient's condition and needs.
* Counsel patients and families/significant others in meeting nursing and related needs.
* Participate in and present in-service programs.
* Refer patients requiring specialized skills to Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Medical Social Workers.
* Submit any changes in schedule to the Director of Clinical Service/Nursing Case Manager daily.
* Understand and adhere to established Agency policies and procedures.
* Participate in patient care conferences to discuss the need for involvement of other health team members.
* Observe aseptic technique as required.
* Prepare equipment and materials for treatment.
* Assist patients in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
* Participate in peer review and performance improvement as assigned.
* Participate in utilization review of medical records as assigned.
* Ensure all related documentation is kept up to date and on site.
* Perform duties following safety standards, including the use of PPEs.
* Attend all training sessions required by the company.

Qualifications:
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
* Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
* Two (2) years of nursing experience, preferred.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
