Volt is immediately hiring for an Accounting Clerk in Albuquerque, NM

As an Accounting Clerk, you will:

- Balance "Daily Cash Summery Report"
- Prepare Deposits
- Manage Credit Card reports from counter and employees with terminals
- Generate invoices for cash, charge & cash nontaxable sales from counter.
- Post Payments
- Print customer aging, follow up on collection calls, and send out friendly reminders for past due customer
- Manage customer credit applications and run credit reports on potential new customers
- set up new customer accounts
- print and mail/email monthly statements
- Process customer refunds
- Manage purchase orders, packing slips A/P invoices to be paid
- Audit A/P invoices and send for appropriate approvals to employees
- Enter A/P invoices into Sage for payment
- General office duties including attending to customers on the phone and in person, filing, data entry etc.

Pay Rate : $20.00-24.00 DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hr. Lunch

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Accounting

Experience with Sage is a plus!!
