Position Summary:

As the Bartender at the newest addition to The Salt Shed , you will be responsible for providing a personalized and memorable guest experience. This laid-back neighborhood bar offers great drinks, good vibes, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re all about fun, games, and creating a space to unwind. This exciting new concept will be an electrifying hub for entertainment and connection. You will be the primary interaction with guests and must be able to tend to the bar while maintaining cleanliness, ensuring responsible alcohol service, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and serve beverages according to house specifications and customer preferences.
• Maintain flexibility to cross-train and step into serving roles when required.
• Engage with guests in a warm, knowledgeable, and professional manner.
• Anticipate guests’ needs to enhance their experience.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including the bar top and BOH spaces.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock liquor, beer, and other supplies as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
• Work closely with barbacks and management to ensure seamless operations.
• Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

About You:

• Knowledge of classic cocktails and bartending techniques.
• Ability to work late hours and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable using a point-of-sale system.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
• Effective communication skills with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Capable of handling intoxicated guests in a professional and safe manner.
• Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Current BASSET and Food Handler certifications or ability to obtain before starting employment.
