We are currently looking for an executive Chef for our upcoming full service Italian restaurant with a bar, opening in the Spring of 2025 in an historic section of Center City. Our restaurant will feature a brick hearth, handmade pasta, small seasonal plates, and large plates including pizzas.
We are searching for individuals who are passionate about cooking, pushing the boundaries, and most importantly, wanting to grow within our company and become a member of our community. Candidates must have 4 years of head chef experience, or a combination of sous and head chef experience within a similar time frame.
Desired Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of progressive culinary management experience in well-rated restaurants.
- The ability to work with an in-depth dough program, and execute an Italian focused menu
- Prior experience and success in running expo in a busy kitchen.
- Experience with hiring, training and mentoring hourly BOH staff.
- Proven ability to manage food and labor costs within industry standards
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
