Skillset: .Net and Angular - In production environment - desktop application experience.
Primary Needs:
- Good Understanding of DevOps infrastructure - specifically Jenkins (groovy scripting not necessary but helpful)
The Value You Deliver:
The Senior Software Engineer (.NET) will:
- Provide Application Support - Monitor, maintain, and provide support for .NET applications in production and test environments. Identify, analyze, and resolve application issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient performance.
- Provide Incident Management support - Respond to and resolve incidents within defined SLAs, Document and track issues using incident management tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
- Maintain TLM hygiene of the applications by collaborating with Chapter lead, Squad lead, QA engineers, and business partners to address prioritized TLM items on time.
- Collaborate with infrastructure support team on release deployments and support.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in computer science with 6+ years of .NET application support and development experience
- Hands-on experience with C#, .Net, WPF, WCF
- Experience in Application support
- Significant experience in Incident Management
- Hands-on experience in diagnosing sophisticated application problems and provide solutions using tools like Visual studio, Fiddler, or Postman
- Ability to analyze logs and identify root causes of application issues
- Experience of using node.js and a good understanding of npm packages
- Experience of consuming and crafting RESTful APIs, and good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design
- Experience with DevOps CI/CD practices, TDD, knowledge of modern testing framework
- Good understanding and experience with the full UI development process including planning, analysis, design, coding, user testing, problem debugging and resolution.
- A positive demeanor and the ability to quickly build partner confidence in matrix environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical teams and non-technical members
