Certification Details BLS ACLS (due to OR RN specialty) Job Requirements Candidates must be proficient in either Ortho/Neuro Must have 3 years of Ortho/Neuro OR experience MUST be willing to float to cross train to other specialty cases if needed MUST be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter or helping hands Schedule Information Shifts & Scheduling: 8hr 0645-1515; 0900-1730 Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 times per week, 1515-0645 Weekend/Call Requirements: based on staffing - Fri 1515-Mon 0645 every 3-4 weekend Holiday/Call Requirements: Must be willing to work holidays Floating Requirements: MUST be willing to float as needed Call response time: 15 minutes Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions DaysCall - 8hr 0645-1515 call/0900-1730 once every 5-6 weeks. weekend call every 4th-5th weekend Unit Specific Information of shifts for unit/department specific orientation: 4-5 days 2 buddy call shifts Charge Nurse for all shifts 7a-11p M-F, weekends 7a-7p, manager until 4p M-F OR techs: Yes Additional Details Department: OR (RN) of Suites: 12 ORs, 1 Endo Suite, 1 Cysto Suite Common Cases: ortho neuro total joints, sports medicine, arthroscopies, etc. Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift?
