    Job Requirements
  • Prefer experience with IABP, Impella, prismaflex, ventilators, arctic sun
  • Must be willing open to PCU assignments/ratios
  • RNs required to titrate drips
  • Experience with critical care drips, Vasopressors, heparin, lasix, antiarrhythmics
    Schedule Information
  • Shifts & Scheduling: 7a-7p, 7p-7a manager to make schedule
  • Will consider blocks if meets unit needs
  • If D/N Rotation, rotation will not occur more than weekly
  • Weekend Requirements: Every other
  • Holiday Requirements: Every other
  • No call or standby requirement
  • Floating Requirements: All areas as helping hands, To MS Tele for PCU patients, and MS for full patient assignment, some ER Holds/boarding
  • 2- 12 hour shifts of unit/department specific orientation
    Unit Specific Information
  • # of Beds: 15
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios ICU: 1:1:2, PCU 1:3
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: varies- adults and geriatrics
  • Charge Nurse on each shift? Charge goes to codes, RRT, normally no assignment
  • No nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit
  • Intensivist MD In house 24/7 MD
  • RT in ICU 24/7
  • RN required to read and interpret, no monitor techs, central monitor station, RN to read strips
    Additional Details
  • Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
  • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions

  • Days - 3x12s, EOW, first to float, every other holiday
