Certification Details BLS Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or NCCT ND UAP Job Requirements 2 years of CVOR experience Open hearts, CABG, Valves experience Must be willing to cross-train into general OR if CV volumes are low Must be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter Charge Nurse for all shifts Schedule Information Shifts & Scheduling: 0645-1515 M-F, start at 6a for Open Heart Case Prep OT opportunity Weeknight Call Requirements: 3-4 times per week, 1515-0645 Weekend Call Requirements: every other to every third weekend, Fri 1515 to Mon 0645 Holiday/Call Requirements: rotating holidays Call response time: 15 minutes Unit Specific Information of Suites: 2 CVOR suites Average of cases per day: 1-3 Common Cases: Open hearts, thoracotomies, VATS, etc. Additional Details 4-5 days unit based orientation; 2 buddy call shifts Family atmosphere in department Radius Rule: 50 miles exclusion for candidates associated with CommonSpirit RTO needed upfront
