    Certification Details
  • BLS
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or NCCT
  • ND UAP
    Job Requirements
  • 2 years of CVOR experience
  • Open hearts, CABG, Valves experience
  • Must be willing to cross-train into general OR if CV volumes are low
  • Must be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter
  • Charge Nurse for all shifts
    Schedule Information
  • Shifts & Scheduling: 0645-1515 M-F, start at 6a for Open Heart Case Prep
  • OT opportunity
  • Weeknight Call Requirements: 3-4 times per week, 1515-0645
  • Weekend Call Requirements: every other to every third weekend, Fri 1515 to Mon 0645
  • Holiday/Call Requirements: rotating holidays
  • Call response time: 15 minutes
    Unit Specific Information
  • # of Suites: 2 CVOR suites
  • Average # of cases per day: 1-3
  • Common Cases: Open hearts, thoracotomies, VATS, etc.
    Additional Details
  • 4-5 days unit based orientation; 2 buddy call shifts
  • Family atmosphere in department
  • Radius Rule: 50 miles exclusion for candidates associated with CommonSpirit
  • RTO needed upfront
