As part of the First Line of Defense (1B) Risk Marketplace (RMP) for Infrastructure Technology Solutions (ITS), you'll be working closely with executive leaders and their teams who design, engineer, and maintain infrastructure technology assets and capabilities globally at TD.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead governance, risk and control activities for life cycle management for all technology assets, focusing on long-term sustainability and efficiency.
Actively manage currency risk by assessing technology assets, monitoring progress to planned upgrades and replacements, and elevating changes in residual risk posture to senior executives.
Develop and implement a dynamic risk management framework that adapts to changing technologies and business needs.
Establish and deliver security and operational risk data through continuous assessment.
Utilize proactive and predictive analysis tools to anticipate potential risks and opportunities.
Key Deliverables:
Lead a group of highly skilled 1B practitioners to achieve Platform Objectives.
Perform risk identification and challenge across change activities, processes, and controls.
Identify, monitor, and prioritize the remediation of risk and control gaps or issues.
Provide governance, risk, control and related expertise to the Platform Owner and Product Groups.
Report on lifecycle risks and issues per NEW standards.
Support the development of talent within the RMP team.
Demonstrate excellent judgment and effectively escalate issues to appropriate leaders.
Build strong relationships with risk and control partners.
Understand legal, regulatory, risk and governance landscape pertinent to the Platform.
Contribute to creating an inclusive and diverse team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field.
Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in technology asset management, IT operations, or related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
In-depth experience in managing technology life cycles, risk management, and compliance in a large enterprise.
Experience in strategy, implementation, and integration of technology solutions.
Understanding of financial principles related to technology investments and budgeting.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
