DescriptionnnMaintenance AssistantCompensation: $20 hourlyShift: FULL TIMEnnThe Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the routine upkeep of all areas of a facility both inside and outside the building. These responsibilities include but are not limited to troubleshooting HVAC systems, lighting, indoor climate control, emergency cleaning and upkeep requests. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.nnEssential duties and Responsibilities:nnPerform general clean up of all areas of the building as directednnManage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lotnnComplete non-routine cleaning according to specified job ordersnnRemove rubbish and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-upnnHandle emergency cleaning and upkeep requestsnnEnsure rooms are maintained and fully equippednnTroubleshoot issues with HVAC system, lighting and indoor climate control as necessarynnEnsure building safety rules are implemented and maintainednnABOUT US:nnTaconic Healthcare is a portfolio of 3 health care facilities in New York state, including: Ulster, Beacon and Hopewell.
