Here’s What You’ll Get To Do Work as a valued member of the general maintenance team as a skilled journey-level multi-craft specialist. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Must be able to work 8 hour shift from 6 am – 2:30 pm Monday through Friday with periods of required overtime and on call times
- Work with team and individually to complete planned and unplanned maintenance functions
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system in all areas of the plant with limited assistance as needed
- Follow safety procedures including but not limited to, LOTO, fall prevention, confined space, NFPA 70E
- Properly document work orders, projects, and tasks in eMaint CMMS system
- Maintain all production equipment in a safe and proper operating condition. This includes both mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as necessary
- Perform preventative maintenance on all production and support equipment
- Troubleshoot malfunctions of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Install and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components
- Perform other assignments as required
What We’re Looking For - Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge with CMMS, preferably Emaint
- Excellent communication skills with peers and management
- Ability to operate within a team environment
- 2+ Years of Maintenance experience
- Experience using basic tools
- Experience with measuring tools i.e., calipers, dial indicators, electronic voltmeter
- Fabrication experience, i.e., welding, torch cutting, etc.
- Experience operating PIT Equipment, i.e., forklift, scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandler forklifts
- Ability to troubleshoot and operate machinery for Metal Fabrication
- Experience reading and understanding fabrication machinery control wiring/pneumatic diagrams
- Preferred but not required:
- Well versed with CMMS, preferably Emaint
- Strong fabrication experience, i.e., welding, torch cutting, etc.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting and operate machinery for Metal Fabrication
- Strong skills reading and understanding fabrication machinery control wiring/pneumatic diagrams
Physical Requirements: - Stand and walk for entire shift on concrete, up to 12 hours
- Push and pull up to 75lbs individually and 150lbs with a partner
- Daily duties require constant reaching, handling, grasping, twisting of upper body, and lifting
- Temperatures are consistent with same outdoor climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
- Must wear all required safety Personal Protective Equipment
- Work overhead
- Climb ladders and stairs
- Work at heights for long periods of time
- Crawl in and out of tight spaces/areas
- Must be able to stand, stoop, bend twist or sit for long periods of time
