Title: Plant Manager
Must Haves : Chemical Manufacturing/PSM environment experience
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary : $140k - $165k base (+bonus and stock not included in this number)

As the Plant Manager, you're the heart and soul of the operation. Your leadership ensures a smooth-running facility, optimizing resources and driving production to meet demanding quality standards. You're responsible for creating a safe and efficient workplace, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Your strategic vision and ability to inspire your team will propel the plant towards continued success.
Job Duties:
• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations
• Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards
• Facilitate production output, product quality, and on-time shipping
• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
• Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
• Develop an environment that values diversity and utilizes various individual's strengths to benefit the site and organization
• Promote employee involvement and engagement in site programs and processes
• Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime
• Commit to plant safety procedures
• Implement capital projects and training programs to attain volume and productivity goals
• Develop and ensure execution of site budgets
• Manage, coach, and develop members of the management team
• Guide teams in effectively utilizing the tools of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing to complete continuous improvement projects
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or Chemistry
- Have prior work experience using a safety management system
- Must have experience working in a PSM environment
