Mackenzie Stuart are currently partnered with a market leading dietary supplement contract manufacturer looking for a Director of Plant Operations responsible for full-scale manufacturing oversight, increasing and optimizing existing operational functions & output.

Responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):
- Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Direct and supervise all manufacturing activities, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management.
- Implement and maintain robust quality control systems to uphold product integrity and safety standards.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline workflows.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable sourcing of raw materials and components.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards (e.g., FDA, GMP).
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures to optimize operational expenses and maximize profitability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality performance across all areas of the organization.
To be considered for the role, the following education, experience and qualifications are required:
- +8 years of experience in operational leadership roles within the dietary supplement industry.
- Exhibit sound knowledge of the dietary supplement contract manufacturing market, as well as the wider health, wellness & fitness industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to dietary supplement manufacturing (e.g., FDA, GMP).
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience is a plus.
