Business/Employment Immigration Attorney - Job Description

This is a full-time on-site/hybrid position depending on your location. As a Business Immigration Attorney, you will be responsible for the following responsibilities:

• consult with and advise clients about their business immigration options, issues, rights and obligations;
• conduct in-depth legal research on immigration law topics, including regulations, orders, policies, precedents, and other legal issues related to employment and investment based immigration matters.
• provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
• prepare immigration applications such as NIW, PERM, H1B, L1, O, E, TN visa, I-140 etc…
• effectively handle your own caseload with the help of supporting staff.
• stay up to date with changes in immigration laws and policies.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of business/employment immigration issues, visas, and immigration law.
• at least 3 years of experience in handling NIW, PERM and work E/B based NIV petitions.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to meet deadline and keep track of case progress via case management software, calendar and other technologies.
• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar
• Previous experience in business immigration law is a plus
