Overview:

As an Employee Benefits Attorney, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on a wide range of employee benefits matters. From designing and implementing benefit plans to navigating compliance issues, you will contribute to the success of our clients and help shape the future of their workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel on employee benefits issues, including retirement plans, health and welfare benefits, and executive compensation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employee benefits agreements and plan documents.
• Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring clients remain in compliance.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement effective benefit strategies.
• Assist with employee benefits-related litigation when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active state bar membership and eligibility to practice law in Illinois.
• 2+ years of experience as an Employee Benefits Attorney, with a focus on advising clients on benefit plans and compliance matters.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, and other relevant laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
