Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a UX Lead-Accessibility WCAG for a Contract job with a client in Chicago, IL - Hybrid (3 days onsite in a Week) . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.


Pay: $70-75/hour – All Inclusive; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Hiring Manager Notes:

  • Recent * ACCESSIBILTY* experience is a MUST within the last - 3-5 years.
  • WCAG 2.2 - (WCAG rules have a wide rand within companies, so we need to vet/gage how in-depth they were following rules in their most recent roles)
  • FIGMA
  • HTML/CSS
  • Dev Tools
  • Personality - Lead experience, high level of communication, team player, passionate


Required Skills

You âre a person who has â 5+ years of experience in a UX strategist or related role. â Proven experience solving complex problems and designing world-class experiences for large-scale enterprise programs. â Extensive understanding of overall UX process and software development methodologies, including Agile. â A high degree of creativity, empathy, passion, and problem-solving ability. â Proficiency with tools like Mural, Axure, Sketch, InVision, and alike. â Vigor and passion about understanding the target audience


Desired Skills

â Bachelors, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience, or a design-related field, or equivalent education and related training / certification. â Experience planning, facilitating and participating in design/strategy mapping workshops. â Financial or similar enterprise experience.
