Using your organizational and motivational talents, balancing field management with office activities, you and your teammates will help to create a neighborhood you can be proud of.nnThe successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a focus on customer delight and sense of urgency.nnResponsibilities include:nnManagerial oversight of multiple new home builds in varying stages of constructionnnPlanning, scheduling, implementation and coordination of quality-built homes from development through final construction, on a timely and economical basis.nnSchedule and manage subcontractors and sub-contractor relationships in order to build homes on-schedule and close on time.nnManaging and inspecting the quality of work that is performed by subcontractors. Hold subcontractors accountable for quality of construction, productivity and compliance with building/safety standards.nnOversee the scheduling, delivery and use of materials on the job sitennMaintain safe, clean and compliant job sitesnnTrack and control construction costs against the budget in order to avoid cost overrunsnnComplete homes and all customer walk-through items prior to closingnnBuild rapport with customers and maintain customer satisfaction throughout the building processnnRegularly conduct Home Buyer Meetings with customersnnCollaborate with DWH Team Members, particularly the sales team, to deliver on quality and servicennPrepare reports and other responsibilities as needednnQualificationsnnAbility to establish good working relationships with a variety of people, including upper management, designers, sales, trades, vendors & customers. Should be able to build rapport and maintain customer satisfaction during the buying/building processnnKnowledge of construction practices and terminology. Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction documents.nnAbility to supervise effectively at all levels & with a variety of personalities. Motivate building partners to perform at a high level of competency.nnManage time effectively, multi-task & prioritize in order to meet established goals & deadlinesnnComputer proficiency required to handle job costing, payroll & communication with vendors & tradesnnDecisive, flexible & works well under pressure when faced with unexpected situations or delays and in a very fast-paced environmentnnCan analyze & resolve problems.
