While experience is appreciated, the ability to learn and apply new systems is equally important if not more so.nnIf you can appreciate the usefulness of a good “To-Do” list, if pivot tables are your jam, and if you believe a well-thought-out comparison chart is a thing of beauty, then there is a good chance you are a good fit for this position.nnJob Responsibilities:nnDevelop and maintain accurate plan budgets, analyze reports related to estimating activities, and track status of assigned projects.nnManage all aspects of the bid coordination process, including blueprint. validation, bid request preparation, research and cost comparison reporting.nnMaintain master job cost files and convert material lists and cost estimates to database.nnCoordinate the flow of information among suppliers, vendors, purchasing staff, builders & DWH computer systems.nnGenerate price pro-forma and other financial reporting for all communities.nnField visits for takeoff validations.nnInteract directly with builders, internal sales personnel, and suppliers.nnProvide generalized service support for internal customers.nnQualificationsnnExperience in Estimating or knowledge of construction and understanding blueprints is required.nnProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel preferred.nnSolid mathematical and analytical skills.nnStrong organization and communication skills.nnAbility to work independently for long periods while supporting and contributing to your team.nnInitiative to drive required activities to completion in a timely manner.nnJD Edwards or other database system knowledge is a plus.nnAutodesk Design Review and estimating software experience is a plus.nnThe Candidate- We are looking for:nnA good fit with our team.
