Job Overview The Pediatric RN works as part of the Outpatient Clinic team to provide care to patients across all of our service lines. We provide a collaborative multidisciplinary team approach in delivery of family patient centered care. In this position, you'll be responsible and accountable for the care provided to patients in the clinic during each shift. You'll utilize the nursing process to assess patients, plan care, interventions and evaluate outcomes. You'll work alongside our physician team to assist with procedures and provide patient education.

Responsibilities - Assesses comprehensive data including physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs and interprets assessment information to derive the diagnosis or issues defined by the patient's condition.
- Involves patient, family and healthcare team members in formulating a culturally appropriate plan of care.
- Implements the plan of care in partnership with the patient, family and healthcare team members in a timely manner.
- Utilizes teaching strategies appropriate to the individual patient's condition and learning needs.
- Evaluates the Patient/family's understanding of and response to the plan of care

Qualifications Required: RN in state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred: BSN preferred
2 years' experience in acute care nursing
Bilingual English/Spanish
