The Electrical Maintenance Technician ensures the proper functioning of electrical systems and equipment within the plant. The ideal candidate should have a strong electrical background in troubleshooting electrical equipment including PLCs, motor controls, temperature controls and other equipment up to 480 volts in a manufacturing environment. Hours: Work a core schedule of M-F 5:30am – 2:00pm, some OT. Duties: Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of electrical processes, systems, and controls to improve safety, quality and efficiency. Assist in answering line calls from production to troubleshoot electrical and extrusion problems. Create electrical schematics and blueprints for new electrical installations and update existing blueprints. Participate in project teams for new equipment installations and capital improvement, sourcing vendors, issuing purchase orders, etc. Is this job for you? What do you bring? Hands-on experience with industrial controls, engineering practices. 5 years of hands-on experience with HMIs, PLCs, motion controls, Rockwell (Control Logix, Factory Talk), ethernet/IP and Modbus communication networks.
