Zak The Baker, James Beard Nominated and Michilen Bib Gourmand Recipient, Artisan Bakery & Cafe in the Wynwood, Miami, is now looking to hire a Sous Chef to join the Savory Kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage all kitchen standard operating procedures
- Assist Chef De Cuisine w/ training & mentoring
- Assist Chef De Cuisine w/ menu development
- Assist Chef De Cuisine w/ Inventory, Purchasing, and COGs.
- Assist Chef De Cuisine w/ Scheduling, and COL.
- Assist Chef De Cuisine w/ Performance Managment
- Assist Chef De Cuisine w/ Recruitment
Requirments
- Must have a culinary degree and/or minimum 5 years in a professional high quality kitchen.
- Must have strong communication and leadrship skills
- Must have exemplary habits and professionalism
- Must have a "can do / will do" attitude.
The kithen operates Sunday - Friday, with operating hours from 7am - 5pm. Closed every Saturday.
