Job Title: Project Manager – Transmission Line Projects

Location: Toronto, ON

Employment Type: Full-Time

Base Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 CAD

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transmission Line Project Manager/Engineer to lead critical transmission line projects in Ontario. Reporting directly to Senior PM, this role involves managing the project execution, oversees finances, and engages with key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in power engineering, financial project management, and hands-on experience with high-voltage transmission lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of large-scale transmission line projects, including:
• Longwood x Lakeshore: ~135km, 500kV
• North Shore Link: ~100km, 230kV
• Northeast Powerline: ~200km, 500kV
• Oversee project budgets, financial tracking, and reporting.
• Facilitate week-to-week interaction and direct communication with client and other key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Conduct project risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of project management experience in transmission and distribution (T&D).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred).
• PMP certification or PE license is highly desirable.
• Strong financial management skills within a project management discipline.
• Proven track record of managing high-voltage transmission line projects (230kV – 500kV).
