A prestigious client of RCQ’s is seeking a Transformation Project Manager to lead a high-profile project that they are collaborating on. This individual will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of a complex programme that will significantly impact the Canadian Financial Services market.
The role will entail managing all aspects of the project, from inception to completion. You'll work closely with the client’s PMO team and interact with multiple departments. As the main point of contact, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the project plan, management of risk/issues/dependencies, budget management, establishing governance frameworks and significant internal and external stakeholder engagement, at the most senior level.
Core competencies:
- Experience in directly managing business transformation projects and multi-disciplinary solutions (not purely IT / technical solutions)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven track record of senior stakeholder
- Commercial mindset - the ability to incorporate the commercial impact of decisions and proposed changes into discussions and reporting
- An analytical approach coupled with advanced attention to detail
- A proven track record of challenging assumptions and proposing alternate approaches to deliver optimal results
- Experience developing the scope, specification, and deadline for projects and liaising with both internal and external third parties
