The Job
As Director of Operations, you will be the backbone of daily operations, providing leadership across multiple departments. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Manage day-to-day operations across various departments, driving change and policies.
- Collaborate with senior management to shape broadcast operations strategy and align with long-term organizational goals.
- Guidance and support of the management team to achieve productivity, responsiveness, and operational excellence.
- Review financials, optimize budgets, and drive profitability through process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain clear, effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
What You Bring to the Job
The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of senior leadership experience in operations with skills in both technology and team management, as well as the following qualifications:
- Proven success in a leadership role in the broadcast, media, entertainment, events or sports industry ideally.
- Expertise in Human Resources, performance reviews, change management, policy adherence, systems implementation (not technical).
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, streamlining processes.
- Experience with strategic planning, and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, often not 9-5.
