Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef in full service, high volume restaurants.
Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
Flexible and willing to adapt to ongoing changes.
Able to inspire, motivate, and develop employees.
Responsibilities & Duties: Assume responsibility for the quality and integrity of products served.
Complete chef prep tasks.
Support kitchen staff including line, prep, and dishwashers.
Fill in as needed on stations to ensure that service standards are met.
Maintain flexibility in scheduling.
Perform ordering to ensure prep efficiency & achieve food cost budget
Assist cooks with set up and break down of stations.
Ensure that cooks have the training they need to excel in their roles.
Schedule staff at levels to meet labor budget and protect consistency of guest experience.
Uphold restaurant standards for quality and cleanliness.
Ensure compliance with local health regulations.
Ensure that equipment is maintained.
