Job Description
Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Commerce, CA
Position Type: Contract to Hire
Pay Range: $21 - $26 per hour (Based on Experience)
Experience: 1-5 years of accounting experience
Responsibilities:
  1. Processing approximately 50 invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  2. Conducting a 3-way match to verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents.
  3. Accurately coding invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
  4. Reconciling vendor statements and addressing discrepancies.
  5. Collaborating with internal departments and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
  6. Maintaining organized and accurate accounts payable records.
  7. Assisting in preparing payments, checks, and electronic transfers.
Experience Qualifications:
  1. 1-5 years of accounting experience.
  2. Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  3. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and practices.
  4. Proficiency in 3-way matching, coding to general ledger accounts, and invoice processing.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
  6. Effective communication skills for vendor and team interactions.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $26.00 per hour
