ACCOUNT DIRECTOR, BRAND CONSULTING - OVERVIEW:This role sits on Elevate's Brand Consulting team. The Brand Consulting vertical for Elevate focuses on consultative services and building platforms/programs within sports, entertainment and lifestyle marketing with domestic and international brands. The individual must thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment, be eager to take on new challenges and opportunities, as well as transition across many different functions based on the needs of the business.
The Account Director is responsible for day-to-day client management related to client's diverse portfolio of sponsorships, including NASCAR, LPGA, PGA, and the WTA among others. The work will include consulting, project management, research and insights, and approvals. They will work directly with the client and report to the Vice President, Brand Consulting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Day-to-day client and project leadership for a Fortune 100 client
- Day-to-day leadership of the account teams that will manage the delivery of the client programs
- Assist in strategic program and project planning for client
- Lead the development of activation plans
- Oversee program execution for assigned clients
- Integrated project management across multiple disciplines and departments, internal and external to Elevate
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities (both organically and new)
- Identify and create best practices and processes for the consulting team
- Provide on-going thought-leadership for client and new business opportunities
- Build and maintain exceptional client and industry relationships
- Create YOY organic growth with existing clients
- Manage the profitability of client accounts
QUALIFICATIONS:The qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. A. Education and/or Experience:- Bachelor's degree
- 7 to 10 years of relevant sports industry experience (agency experience preferred)
- Previous management experience preferred
B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:- A curious mindset with strong work ethic
- Creative problem solving
- Knowledge and experience with multiple sports properties
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams to execute programs
- Ability to develop strong relationships and manage multiple partners and programs
- Strong understanding of the digital and social landscape including but not limited to audience insights, trends and analytics, previous experience working with influencers is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to present ideas, activation plans, and recap results
- Real-time industry knowledge and relationships in sports + entertainment
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
