We have an opening for a Marketing Manager who will report jointly to the Senior Vice President for Sales and Rental and to the Vice President, Parts for Product Support. Working closely with the Executive Team and General Managers, the successful candidate will develop and implement integrated marketing, product, and digital strategies focused on delivering measurable results. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Manage all aspects of outbound marketing efforts for the brands of our member companies which includes N C Machinery, N C The Cat Rental Store, N C Power Systems, Tractor & Equipment Co., T & E The Cat Rental Store, and SITECH, to grow the customer base.
  • Partner with Business Unit leaders in developing strategic initiatives and plans for the introduction of significant new products and to achieve established marketing critical success factors. Develop and manage content development in alignment with the business unit's strategic plans.
  • Lead a marketing strategy that includes digital strategy and execution and integrates marketing communications and product to support business growth and enhance our brands. Identify new tactics and outlets to drive awareness of products.
  • Ensure messaging strategy and external communications are consistent and in line with the Harnish Group, Inc. and the member company brands.
  • Manage and continuously improve our website platforms. Write and maintain website layout, design and messaging for our websites.
  • Develop product marketing materials to support all business unit sales teams including presentations, marketing tools, FAQs, and other collateral as needed.
  • Oversee the company's presence at relevant industry events including speaking and exhibiting opportunities.
  • Coach, mentor and motivate team members that will help build and promote an environment for achieving results.
  • Supports all Dealer hosted events for business units.
  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with Caterpillar and other major suppliers.

Personal Attributes, Experience, and Education:
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business or related discipline, 5+ years of marketing experience with the ability to present, impact and influence at the executive level.
  • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Able to represent the company with a high degree of professionalism while practicing the Company Values.
  • Demonstrate skills as an analytical thinker and problem solver who is comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly.
  • Required travel up to three times per year to include locations such as Billings, Montana, Williston, North Dakota and Anchorage, Alaska branches.

We offer a competitive benefits package that includes salary range from $131,200 to $160,400, based on skills and experience, health benefits, vacation, sick leave, life insurance, 401(k) with profit sharing and company match.
