POSITION DESCRIPTIONThe Strategist operates as the 'presale leader' for growth opportunities, driving the overall program design and strategic recommendation we deliver to clients. The Strategist represents the business strategy we apply in making sure our program design directly aligns and positively affects clients' business objectives.
All responsibilities and accountabilities are a result of working in collaboration with Account Executives (AEs), Strategy Advisors (SAs), Centers of Client Excellence (CCEs) and Solution Line leadership to foster ongoing alignment. Teamwork and cross-sharing to complement a culture of continuous learning throughout the enterprise are critical.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration/Management, Communications, Organizational Behavior/Development, Behavioral Economics, or applicable field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience managing presale/proposal development activity; working experience developing business solutions within the B2B Channel Partner Solution space is required; knowledge and understanding of technology systems and data flow preferred.
- Solid business acumen with a positive, professional attitude, able to build strong relationships and earn the respect of colleagues and customers.
- Strong problem solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills with an emphasis in solution development; ability to demonstrate confidence and tenacity while being respectful is critical.
- Ability to demonstrate curiosity with the ability to apply learned insights to business strategies.
- Ability to be adaptable and wear many hats.
- Strong presentation skills a must, including conducting formal stand-up presentations as well as managing informal presentation discussions.
- Strong organizational skills with project management proficiency is necessary for position success.
- Demonstrated strong writing skills.
- Proven track record of displaying a sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability.
- Articulate and skilled with interpersonal communication.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Demonstrated business communication experience, including strong written and verbal skills. Technical writing and proposal writing experience is required.
- Solid business acumen with a driven, positive, and professional attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously in an effective and organized manner.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to take and give direction within a matrix organizational structure and team environment.
- Ability to develop strong relationships, rapport and respect with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to think and act in a proactive manner.
- Ability to travel (as needed) to ITA Group regional offices and/or client location as requested by internal team members to support presentation and sales efforts.
- General understanding of accounting principles, pricing strategy and the ability to develop a client's program budget.
- Ability to learn and properly utilize ITA Group internal systems.
- Ability to listen, understand and respond to external and internal customers' needs
in a timely manner; customer service experience in a service-related industry preferred. - Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft® office products required.
