Job Description

Job Summary:

The staff member, reporting to the Credit Control Unit (CCU) Unit Head, is responsible for monitoring and supporting the daily operations of the CCU's Document Control function. This includes Vault Custody duties, ensuring the timely processing, scanning, and filing of loan documentation, and maintaining accountability of all transaction documentation related to credit facilities. The role is essential for the orderly filing, safekeeping, and control of transaction documentation.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vault Custody Support : Assist with Vault Custody tasks and serve as a point of contact for the Front Office and Operations on open issues and procedural controls related to Vault Custody activities.
  2. Documentation Management : Ensure the timely receipt, scanning, and filing of loan documents into the bank’s optical imaging system, maintaining proper documentation flow.
  3. Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot and address any problems related to CCU’s Document Custody operations.
  4. Reporting : Provide periodic status reports on the bank vault and its contents as requested by CCU management.
  5. Compliance : Understand and comply with applicable bank rules, regulations, and the Code of Conduct. Attend required compliance training and maintain awareness of compliance directives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Corporate Banking or Corporate Finance Documentation.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (ONBASE experience is a plus).
