- Location : Hybrid – 55 Water Street Manhattan, New York (T/W/TH in-office)
- Pay Range : $32-37/hour (dependent on experience)
Brief Summary
This individual contributor role is responsible for supporting the Director in creating seasonal color, print, and pattern concepts, executing creative artwork, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure brand alignment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze seasonal color, print, and pattern directions and adapt them for program proposals.
- Research concept inspirations through editorials, trend services, competitive intelligence, and runway analysis.
- Create presentation boards or visuals to communicate design concepts and proposals.
- Execute graphic artwork, color and print designs, including CAD creation and specpack production.
- Pitch and edit designs based on feedback, ensuring production readiness.
- Manage ongoing communication with vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain the color and print database and organize project deliverables.
- Collaborate with merchandising, production, and design teams to ensure commercially viable and brand-right graphics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Art, Fashion, or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of experience designing graphics in a corporate or large-brand environment.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Suite.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in graphic artwork, color, and print design.
- Experience with specpack creation, production-ready artwork, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze runway trends and competitive patterns to inform creative concepts.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to collaborate effectively with partners.
