LHH is currently partnering with a healthcare organization in San Diego, CA to hire a Payroll Administrator for a Temp to Hire opportunity. The company is very employee-centric and believes in fostering good work life balance and a collaborative culture. Role Overview: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for their diverse workforce. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be adept at managing change.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll processing for over 500 employees, including full-time, part-time, per diem, and internal temporary staff.
  • Handle multi-state payroll, with most employees in California
  • Process semi-monthly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
  • Administer bonuses and incentive payments.
  • Generate monthly reports for management using Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of payroll processing experience.
  • Strong Excel skills, particularly with VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Experience with Payroll Systems (Isolved, Coastal Payroll, ADP, Paylocity, etc.)
  • Experience processing Alternate Work Schedule (AWS) payroll a plus
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with many moving parts.
  • Flexible and proactive, with the ability to handle change management effectively.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not required.
Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
