LHH is currently partnering with a healthcare organization in San Diego, CA to hire a Payroll Administrator for a Temp to Hire opportunity. Role Overview: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for their diverse workforce. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be adept at managing change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processing for over 500 employees, including full-time, part-time, per diem, and internal temporary staff.
- Handle multi-state payroll, with most employees in California
- Process semi-monthly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
- Administer bonuses and incentive payments.
- Generate monthly reports for management using Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 4 years of payroll processing experience.
- Strong Excel skills, particularly with VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Experience with Payroll Systems (Isolved, Coastal Payroll, ADP, Paylocity, etc.)
- Experience processing Alternate Work Schedule (AWS) payroll a plus
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with many moving parts.
- Flexible and proactive, with the ability to handle change management effectively.
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not required.
Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
