Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee restoration and new construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead diverse teams while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Manage all phases of restoration and new construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial performance.
- Scheduling: Create and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of all phases.
- Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate efforts between architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure projects meet quality standards and comply with building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in restoration and new construction.
- Familiarity with historic preservation and modern construction techniques is a plus.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or related field preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications:
- PMP certification is a plus but not required.
