Our client specializes in large-scale projects for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Miami, FL.

Position Overview:

The Project Manager will oversee complex heavy civil construction projects , ensuring successful execution from pre-construction through project completion. This role is critical in maintaining the high standards and timely delivery of projects for FDOT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the management of large-scale FDOT projects , ensuring compliance with specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• Oversee pre-construction planning, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, implementing strategies to address challenges and ensure goals are met.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards on all projects.
• Foster strong relationships with FDOT representatives and other key stakeholders.
• Prepare and present project updates, financial reports, and performance metrics to leadership.
• Mentor and develop project management team members.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience managing heavy civil construction projects with a general or prime contractor.
• Proven experience on large FDOT projects (required).
• Strong understanding of heavy civil construction practices, FDOT specifications, and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage large, diverse teams.
• Proficiency in construction management software and reporting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred).
