3 12s - Friday - Sun 5:30pm - 6am
Weekend Day: Fri-Sun (9am-9:30pm)
Lead Tech Position : Thurs-Sat (9am-9:30pm)
Job Summary: Cat Scan Technologists use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. A CT Technologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.
Job Duties: Your role is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures.
You will communicate and work independently in performing all CT procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood.
Your role uses computed tomography equipment to take images of a patient's body from different angles.
You will prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning patients; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into specified positions; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
Qualifications: Credential Requirements: ARRT(RT)(CT) REQUIRED and CE compliance & Current BLS certification required.
Education Requirements: Graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - Certified by ARRT.
Experience Requirements: 1-year diagnostic experience required. CT experience preferred.
For Lead Tech: Must have a minimum of 2 years' CT experience with prior Lead/leadership experience preferred.
Licensures/Certifications Needed: ARRT CT certified. BLS certified through AHA or ARC.
Compensation: - Pay Rates: UP to $50/hr. (Based on years of experience)
- Shift Diffs: $2.00 Weekends & $5.50 Nights
- Sign-On Bonus: 20K (Nights) & 10K (Evenings)
