Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented individual to join our clients insurance team as a Customer Service Representative.
Spherion Staffing of Lake and Sumter County has a temp-to-hire opening for a Customer Service Representative located in Ocklawaha, FL. The individual in this role will be the first point of contact for clients, providing them with exceptional service and support. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can communicate effectively with clients in both English and Spanish. This role is focused on administrative and client service tasks, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
The schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the pay rate is $15 per hour. During the training period the hours may be from 9:00 am tp 3:00 pm.
There is significant potential for growth, including training in insurance sales for candidates who excel in the role and seek career advancement. Candidate must be interested in taking state classes to become an insurance agent.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to clients via phone, email, and in person.
Address general client inquiries and direct policy-specific or quote-related questions to licensed agents.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and transactions.
Support the team with document preparation, policy updates, and other administrative tasks.
Ensure a positive client experience by resolving issues in a timely manner.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Bilingual preferred but not required (Spanish).
