Responsibilities:
- Nationwide Data Collection and Research: Conduct on-site visits to retail stores, collect data, study aspects specified in the research instructions, and foster meaningful dialogues with retail owners and employees to gain insightful information and perspectives.
- Field Visits and Business Intelligence : Organise and conduct on-site visits to gather valuable business intelligence, purchase merchandise within budget limits, and acquire insights.
- Comprehensive Reporting: Create analytical reports, dashboards, presentations, and recommendations based on collected data, and present field visit results to management in a structured and comprehensive manner weekly or bi-weekly.
- Cross-functional Project Design and Execution: Work with sales and other cross-functional teams to design market insight projects and execute the fieldwork as well as the data collection and analysis for reporting back to the team.
- Digital Consumer Research: Conduct consumer surveys remotely for digital platforms, and perform data analysis and reporting with actionable recommendations.
- Market and Consumer Behavior Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the business, market, consumer behavior, and retailer/reseller behavior to provide recommendations that are actionable and practical.
- Strategic Recommendations: Make recommendations based on insights for product strategy and marketing materials, including packaging.
- Senior Leadership Collaboration: Opportunity to work with senior leaders of the business, contributing to high-level decision-making processes.
- Ad-hoc projects upon request of the functional leaders within the business.
Requirements:
- Entry-level position, suitable for candidates with limited professional experience.
- A reliable form of transportation is a must.
- Possess a valid passport and a G-class driver's license (Canadian).
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in G-Suite (Google Forms, Docs, etc.).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to travel across Canada up to 85-100% of the time.
