We are seeking an experienced Multifamily Stacked Townhome Superintendent to oversee the construction of our multifamily residential projects in Calgary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing wood-frame construction projects, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Direct and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and construction personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project plans.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules, ensuring critical deadlines are met and adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate changes.
• Maintain regular communication with senior management, consultants, inspectors, and other stakeholders. Report any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Enforce safety protocols on-site, conduct safety meetings, and ensure all team members adhere to safety standards.
• Review project plans, specifications, and documentation. Ensure all required inspections, permits, and occupancy deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a superintendent role, specifically in multifamily residential construction.
• Strong understanding of wood-frame construction processes, including wood-frame over parkade.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in project management software.
• Relevant certifications in construction management or a related field are preferred.
• Ability to work independently, problem-solve effectively, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
