Your new role

Reporting to the HR Manager, we are looking for a HR Generalist or Senior HR Generalist to play a pivotal role for the company in supporting their HR functions and initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include things such as; employee relations where you will act as a primary point of contact for inquiries and concerns. You will facilitate conflict resolution and promote positive and inclusive work environments, engage in talent management and recruitment, overall employee engagement, performance management and assist with group health benefits and LTD and STD along with WorkSafe BC inquiry reporting among many other things!

What you'll need to succeed

You will resonate with the words 'honest, friendly, passionate, happy, calm, adaptable, resourceful and thorough'. You will be a problem solver and a team player who is a fantastic communicator and have roughly 5 years in a HR role of a generalist capacity and have a high level of confidentiality and diplomacy. You will be proficient in MS Office suite, and have had experience with an applicant tracking system and HRIS. Experience with Canada Life Group Administration is an asset.
