Role and Responsibilities

This is an advanced position involving a Pavement Data Analyst Specialist working in a highway material testing facility full-time. General activities include the following: Independently performs processing, image reviews, and reporting of statewide pavement data to assess the pavement condition, performance, and serviceability levels of roadways. Subsequently performs data processing using appropriate software, storage, and analysis and prepares detailed reports on findings. Follows processes and procedures, conducts data quality checks, and troubleshoot/resolves technical issues related to accuracy. Ability to communicate with team members to relay technical information. This position will be working in the Pavement Performance Section. Specific duties include:

• Independently performs Pavement data processing, image review, and reporting
• General programming skills (SQL and or any general programming knowledge such as Python and Visual Basic Applications is preferred)
• Advanced skills with Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, Power BI, and PowerPoint is preferred
• Conducts Quality Assurance/Quality Control of testing data
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized and highly motivated
• Data processing and quality review experience
• Technical writing skills
• Be able to multi-task and work well with others or individually to meet common goals.
