Jensen’s Excavating is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to join our team! You will be responsible for estimating, planning, and managing a wide range of residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Seek bid opportunities
- Meet with customers to understand needs and identify project scope
- Read and understand project plans and specifications
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and project cost proposals
- Plan, coordinate and schedule equipment, labor, subcontractors and materials
- Maintain required project documentation and as-built information
- Manage projects from pre-construction to close-out
- Other duties as assigned and as detailed on job offer

Qualifications:
- Previous construction related work experience
- Knowledge of related OSHA standards and safety practices
- Ability to work well with others and build positive relationships
- Have knowledge of excavation, grading and underground utility construction methods
- Possess strong spreadsheet and computer skills (Microsoft office)
- Have strong technical writing, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Possess leadership and project management skills
- Have strong analysis and critical thinking skills
- Be deadline and detail oriented
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred)
- 3+ years of construction/project management experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Typical work schedule Monday – Friday 7 am – 5 pm (other days and times as required)
