Magnify is looking for a Project Estimator to collaborate with Project Managers to make sure projects are competitively priced, incorporate qualified subcontractors, and adhere to client timelines and budget requirements. The early involvement of Estimators in the planning phase is essential for the successful execution of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Project Management team during the preconstruction phase.
• Evaluate scope of work, prepare bids, conduct take-offs, and assess risks for each project.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
• Handle conceptual, schematic, and design development estimates, as well as GMPs and lump sum bids.
• Provide recommendations after reviewing project details and participate in meetings with relevant stakeholders to discuss them.
• Lead preconstruction review meetings and contribute to planning processes.
• Develop and integrate appropriate quality assurance/quality control processes into project models.
• Perform additional tasks as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, civil engineering, or 5+ years of relevant experience in specific construction sectors (e.g., entertainment, retail, self-storage, multi-family).
• Proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Revu, Bluebeam, or equivalent software.
• Highly self-motivated, with strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
• Must have permanent authorization to work in the US.
