Our client is a top 50 AM law firm who is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate with 2-3 years of experience to join their high-profile litigation team in California, with San Diego as the preferred office location.

• Arbitration, Mediation, ADR
• Product Liability & Complex Tort
• White Collar Defense & Government Investigations
• Insurance and Reinsurance Problem-Solving & Dispute Resolution

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will handle complex litigation matters and be actively involved in:

• Conducting legal research and brief-writing.
• Managing document production and discovery.
• Supporting the growth of the practice through client development activities, such as contributing to articles, attending speaking engagements, and networking.
• Collaboration & Flexibility
• We value teamwork at Mintz and encourage associates to work from the office approximately 60% of the time, in line with our hybrid work guidelines.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

• JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted or eligible for admission in California.
• 2-3 years of experience handling complex litigation matters.
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage competing responsibilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
