Pay Rate: $45 - $50 / hour (based on experience)

Our client, a leading premium podcast studio, is seeking a Consumer Insights Specialist for a 6-month contract role on their Analytics & Research team in Los Angeles/Culver City. This pivotal position will leverage first-party (1P) and third-party (3P) tools to execute comprehensive research programs that inform Marketing, Content Development, Sales, and Product strategies. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for consumer insights, particularly in entertainment or media, and who is enthusiastic about podcasts and the audience behind them.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute research studies for marketing, content, sales, and product teams, including episode testing, key-art testing, audience strategy, UX testing, and more.
- Manage ongoing data reporting and distribution for continuous research initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to address research needs and ensure insights are actionable.
- Oversee all stages of qualitative and quantitative research, from design to reporting.
- Aggregate findings, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven recommendations to shape strategy.
- Communicate research findings to senior stakeholders effectively and persuasively.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in primary research, including both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Background in market research or consumer insights, preferably in entertainment or media.
- Proficiency in various market research methodologies and applications.
- Ability to independently conduct research using internal tools (e.g., questionnaire writing, programming, data processing).
- Strong statistical skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Excellent communication and client-management skills.
- Experience in ad sales and UX research is a plus.
