About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to support the Domestic Division of a dynamic organization in the logistics and transportation industry. In this role, you will work closely with the Business Unit Finance team, providing valuable insights to guide decision-making and drive financial performance.

This is a hands-on role that combines financial analysis, strategic support, and collaboration with operational leaders to enhance the profitability and efficiency of the domestic division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to business unit leaders, providing financial guidance and analysis to drive business decisions.
  • Prepare detailed financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to support the division's financial goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead the monthly financial reporting process for the business unit, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of actionable insights.
  • Support the development and execution of the annual budget and rolling forecasts for the domestic division.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and sales, to align financial plans with business objectives.
  • Identify and recommend cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist with ad-hoc analysis and special projects, providing leadership with clear and concise financial insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, business unit finance, or related roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial modeling (experience with ERP systems and BI tools is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on translating data into actionable recommendations.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail and a passion for driving results.

Why Join Us?

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with a high-performing business unit team, where you'll play a critical role in shaping financial strategies and optimizing performance for the domestic division. With exposure to leadership and opportunities for growth, this position offers a rewarding career path for driven finance professionals.
